Announcements from the Pine Island Chamber Office:
Opening Night at the Farmers Market

The Pine Island Farmers Market, sponsored by the Pine Island Area Chamber of Commerce, will start on Friday May 14th 2021. This year the Market will be located in the grass lot behind Island Market, across E Center Street from the Cheese Factory building. One of our newest Chamber members, Hooligan Hydrographics, will be sponsoring the opening night of the Farmers Market. Scott will have some examples of his work on display, showcasing what exactly “hydrographics” look like.

Music at the Farmers Market

The Pine Island Farmers Market will resume after a two week break (Memorial Day and Cheese Fest) on June 11th. We will have Music at the Market courtesy of Becky Schlegel: Becky’s music is original, drawing on the influence of classic country, bluegrass, folk, and her own thoughtful spirit. Becky takes her listeners on a musical journey, exploring new places and meeting new people in every song. Visit us at the Pine Island Farmers Market on Friday afternoons from 3 to 7pm thru October.

Networking at Nicole Mills Photography

The Pine Island Chamber is holding an "After Hours" Networking event on Wednesday June 9th from 5 to 7pm at Nicole Mills Photography’s new studio, 520 South Main Street. Anyone and everyone is welcome! Light snacks and refreshments will be provided with a tour of the photography studio at 6pm. COVID precautions will be in place; masks are required. Don’t forget to bring your business cards!

2021 Flower Basket Donors

The Pine Island Area Chamber is pleased to coordinate the purchase of hanging flower baskets to add color and beauty to Main Street again this year. The City of Pine Island will continue to care for the flower baskets to preserve them throughout the season. Thank you to the following donors!
